Extra Information

Newborn Photography

When?

A newborn session needs to take place in the first 21 days. After this point they begin to lose their sleepy, cocoon shape and it makes it a little harder to put them in the positions we want to for this sort of shoot. If you would love a new born shoot, let me know your due date and we can plan in an approximate time that it might happen.

For how long?

Plan to be with me for around 2 hours. I don’t want to rush and I would love to have a cup of tea with you. You might need to feed or change a nappy and we will want to try a few different set ups.

Where?

The comfort of a home – I believe in making it a lovely experience and one to remember. I would love to come to you as long as you have a light, uncluttered space with a big window. This can be a bed or floor space.

Baby Photography

When?

It is often best to wait until your baby is sitting up. They are a little more independent, fun and interactive and are able to do more. This doesn’t mean I don’t do shoots of babies that are between newborn and 6 months – I am completely happy to and together, we can chat about what you might like.

Where?

For older babies I would prefer to be outside. We can go for a little walk and take some family photos as well as baby photos.

Do you work on Saturdays?

Unfortunately, I have a very limited number of Saturdays I am available on. During the summer months, I am able to do weekday evenings and can of course do school holidays during the daytime.

What happens after the shoot?

I will take around 3 weeks to get your images finished. You will be able to view them online and of course share your password with others. If you have bought a package, you will receive that in the post, or if not, you can buy products here.
