My background

Photography began for me began when I got my first camera at the age of 10. My dad loved to take photos, print them and make albums and now those albums are treasured. I want to do that for children too. I guess it began professionally for me in 2010 when I began to help my husband Tom shoot weddings. At the time, I was also a primary teacher and then in 2013, I joined Tom full time. I am a sentimental, soft hearted creative and to me, taking a photograph feeds all those parts of my character.

My style

For newborns and babies, I am totally happy to come to you. I prefer to use natural light in an environment that is home or that feels like home so that you can remember it how it was. If the light maybe lacking, I will softly replicate it. I don’t use any props and I won’t dress your baby up – I just love natural, beautiful photos that will show how they used to be in their smallest form!

For family shoots, Tom and I would love to meet you at the beach, woodland or somewhere outside that means something to you. We love natural, candid images and so we only shoot outside and only use natural light. We want to take photos that aren’t forced and that show the connection you share and celebrate and reflect who you are.  We believe that a natural, outside environment as opposed to a studio helps us do that more effectively and get much more beautiful photos.
